From the intricate still life of fine china and antique lace to the plein air painting of landscapes, Nita is an artist who paints all year long. She is able to capture the beauty of the coast of Maine, the greenery of Ireland and the provincial flair of her native France that allows the viewer to be swept away. Nita fills her days teaching private art classes, working on commissions, designing greeting cards and, occasionally demonstrating for New England art associations. Nita has mastered many medium: pastel, oil and watercolor.

Comments From Judge About Show:
Thisspring show has a wonderful and uplifting feeling, well balanced work of dedicated artists. Oils seemed to dominate the show with a very traditional and classical style. A few Watercolorists took a break to experiment and uses of their creativity with other medium. The artistic eye of the photographers showed its diversity. The Best of Show in acrylic (Jim Collins-The Challenger) was a tour de force and a tribute to wildlife at its best!
Congratulations to all.
